Service Description

"My Life" provides a personal biography and family legacy preservation service. We help you organize your life experiences into a professional memoir format, including digital and optional printed versions.

Membership Plans & Pricing

My Life offers the following one-time purchase membership plans:

• Basic Plan: $299 USD - 2 biographies, 2,000 characters per biography, 10 photos per biography, 2 family circles
• Standard Plan: $899 USD - 5 biographies, unlimited characters, 50 photos per biography, 10-second video support, 5 family circles
• Premium Plan: $1,999 USD - Unlimited biographies, unlimited characters, unlimited photos/videos, unlimited family circles, includes 1 printed hardcover book

All prices are in US Dollars (USD). These are one-time purchases that provide lifetime access to the corresponding membership tier. No recurring subscription fees.

User Responsibilities

As a user of My Life, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful personal information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Ensure uploaded content does not violate any laws or regulations
• Respect the privacy and intellectual property rights of others
• Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Intellectual Property

You retain all intellectual property rights to the content you upload (text, photos, videos). By using our service, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely for providing and improving our services to you.

Data Storage & Security

We are committed to providing secure, long-term storage for your data. Your content is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with regular backups. Media files are stored on Cloudinary's secure content delivery network.

If we ever discontinue the service, we will provide at least 90 days notice and assist you in exporting all your data.

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our service within 7 days of purchase, you may request a full refund. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
• Losses resulting from user negligence (e.g., sharing passwords)
• Content uploaded by users that violates laws or third-party rights

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Upload illegal or harmful content
• Engage in fraudulent activity

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
